Team Coaching starts with a conversation between a Performance Insights coach and you, the leader. Together we explore the answers to the above questions and drill down to identify your team’s single biggest inhibitor. Next, we craft a solution specifically for your group and your issue.
Implementation of the solution generally occurs by setting aside about 2 hours a week for 8-10 weeks (other options are available). During each 2 hour session, your team will meet with one of our coaches who will utilize a hybrid approach between pure executive coaching, facilitating, and training to eradicate that inhibitor. Your coach will ask powerful questions, challenge your thinking, and forge ahead (even when it’s hard) to ensure that a transformation takes place.
Then, for three succeeding weeks, each individual member of your team will receive personalized one-on-one coaching in order to flesh out any remaining issues. Finally, the entire team will come back together to celebrate their success and make plans to capitalize on the deep learning that inevitably occurs.
Finally, you have a way to identify and remove the barriers to your team’s performance. Don’t wait until something goes wrong and hear yourself say “Man. I knew that was going to happen!” You did that last year. Things can be different this time.
